TraducIT is NOT a translation agency but the trading name chosen by Mariangela Bellu, an Italian teacher and sworn translator based in Salamanca (Spain) supported by a large group of highly qualified native freelance language professionals working in numerous specialist areas.                  Mariangela has made a profession out of her passion for languages, which is further endorsed by:

• a Degree (Università degli Studi di Siena) and a Doctorate (University of Salamanca) in Classic Philology;

• many years of experience (since 1992) in the world of translation and teaching Italian, her native language;

• continuous training in both these areas;
  

• constantly updated tools and resources;

• a certificate as a Sworn Translator and Interpreter of Italian granted by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAEC).

Etymology

> Traducit is the third person singular of the present indicative of the Latin verb traducere which means “translate”, amongst other things... We have chosen this word to reflect the fact that our primary activity is professional translation.

> With the graphic “TraducIT” we wanted to highlight the fact that we specialize in translations into and from italian, the mother tongue of the firm’s creator, who takes personal responsibility for reviewing each and every one of the texts translated into that language by her freelance colleagues to ensure they meet the highest quality standards.
